“Charles Stewart Parnell MP” (STG No 69) dated 1887. Born in Ireland in 1846, he became an MP in 1875. He was elected Chairman of the Home Rule party in the House of Commons and was given the Freedom of Dublin. He died in 1891. This is a very rare Stevengraph indeed, 4* in the Sprake Darby book. It is one of the Politician set, and dated 1887, mounted on the D type mount card. There is no back label. There are three variants depending upon flowers, harp etc. In lovely condition, both the silk and the mount.
