“Country Pursuits” by Kronheim, dated C1860. During the mid C19th hunting prints were a very popular subject to be portrayed. This one is of a single rider leaping a brook in the company of two dogs. It is mounted in a simple cream mount with applied border line, image size 4 1/2″ x 2 3/4″ and mount size 8 1/2″ x 7″. A really good quality example of Kronheim’s work and use of the Baxter printing process.
