Wellington & Blucher (Meeting after the Battle of Waterloo).

“Wellington & Blucher” (Meeting after the Battle of Waterloo) (STG 155), another rather busy landscape scene that goes well with “The Death of Nelson” (STG 152),  This displays beautiful colours and the mount is exceptional. The image shows many standing as well as wounded combatants. It is one of the slightly larger Stevengraphs (9″ x 6 1/2″), and was originally produced in 1889. This is on C1 card mount (with credit printed under the picture distinguishes it from the C card mount) dating it to the period 1893-5. This printed label is 23+31a which dates it specifically to 1889. It is unframed. A truly outstanding copy of this historical item.
