“Two Spaniels” by Kronheim, dated C1860. During the mid C19th family and animal prints were very popular. This one is of two spaniels going about their trained task in farmland margins. It is mounted in a simple cream mount with applied border line, image size 4″ x 2 3/4″ and mount size 8 1/4″ x 7″. A really good quality example of Kronheim’s work and use of the Baxter printing process.
