This is a lovely Tunbridgeware match box holder with the butterfly motif to the top. It is a lovely image showing all the exotic woods off to great effect. To the sides are the strike recesses and one end is open to receive the box, the other with a finger hole to push the box out. Size is 2 1/2″ x 1 5/8″ x 1″. An old match box with matches is housed within. Quite simply, one of the best butterfly blocks I have seen.
