This is a lovely Tunbridgeware match box holder with the bird motif to the top. It clearly shows all the exotic woods to great effect. To the sides are the strike recesses and one end is open to receive the box, the other with a finger hole to push the box out. Size is 2 1/2″ x 1 5/8″ x 1″. An old match box with matches is housed within. An excellent and unusual Tunbridgeware block.
