“The Head of Derwent Water” (LB No 40) is on an Embossed Mount (EM) and one of the Small Landscape set. They were unsigned, but with the embossed title and the Le Blond number to centre bottom. Le Blond never made any acknowledgement of where the paintings came from. They are an attractive series, but not of the same vibrancy as the Baxter equivalents. 3 3/4″ x 2 1/4″.
