“The Conchologists” CL No 149 dated 1850. This excellent copy of a popular image is on a Red Seal Mount and is signed in the picture as can be seen from the photographs. This item was sold either as a print (unmounted) or on a RSM, never on a Stamped Mount. Usually called the large Conchologists, this was from the Bertrand Morgan collection. The colours are superb as the print has been in an album since original purchase.
