“St Ruth’s Priory” (CL No 322) dated 1850. This is a domed top version of the picture, and is one of very few examples by Baxter of evening or night scenes. His process carries it off well. Never applied to a Stamped Mount, this is a Red Seal Mount example. There is also a page variation which has a square top. From the Bertrand Morgan collection.
