“Australia – News from Home” (CL No 195) dated 1853. This is the companion print to CL No 196, and depicts an image relating to the Australian Gold Rush. The detail within is excellent, from the bird on the ring taking an interest in the letter from home, to the furnishings and trappings within the cabin. This is always unsigned.
