“The May Queen Set” CL No 144 dated 1858 needlebox prints. These can often come in faded form with marks on the face of Prince Frederick. This copy is absolutely stunning in colour depiction. The photographs really do not do the prints justice as they are so rich and deep in colour. From the albums of the Bertrand Morgan collection, so have never been exposed to light, and are as strong as the day they were printed.
