“News from Australia ” (CL No 196) dated 18534 This is the companion print to CL No 195, and depicts an image relating to the receipt of a letter from the Australian Gold Diggings. The detail within is interesting, especially the furnishings, dress and activities within the room. This is always signed on the hearth if by Baxter, the absence of signature indicating a Le Blond Baxter production. The condition and colourings are good, it is un-mounted.
