Stevengraph “Peeping Tom” Used Postcard sc176

Peeping Tom postcard by Thomas Stevens. Listed by Godden (227) and Sprake (28), and allocated the number sc176 by Stevengraph Silks. There are a number of variations to this card, as annotated on the latter site. The first image shows not much of the wall, and the second much more of it as described. This copy is the third with the “With best Christmas Wishes” message below “Woven in Silk by T Stevens Coventry”  to the centre of the embossing. It more resembles the first option with less of the wall showing, with an attribution like the second without the “LTD”.
