This is a pretty little box with a hinged lid. It is 8.5 cms x 6 cms x 3 cms high. Rectangular in shape, and the base wood is rosewood. It is undecorated to the base. The top has a single band of geometric tesserae around a floral design to the centre, and a turned lifting button. Around the lid top is a dash design pattern. Inside is a plain container for sewing items.
