A Tangram puzzle in rosewood Tunbridgeware box. Much of the mystery of doing the puzzle has gone now since a search on the internet will tell you how to do it. However, that is also a good check to see that all the pieces are there. This example has a geometric stickware pattern made up of excellent wood colours to the top. It is not decorated to the sides. In lovely condition with all the tesserae present. Attribution of these small pieces is very hard but it would date to about 1870-80.
