A lovely enamel box by Bilston & Battersea, designed by Halcyon Days, London. It was the silhouette that did it, as enamels and ceramics are not usual purchases! This caught my eye and the excuse was “silhouette”! Designed to replicate their Georgian predecessors the quality is truly excellent. Enamelled on copper, it includes a mirror inside. Probably 1970’s, so hardly antique, but the script amuses. No damage at all, in great condition, the lid works fine and all is secure. 5 cms wide x 3.7 cms deep, and 2.2 cms high.
