“Crossing the Brook” (LB 87, CL No 103). A painting with the same title was completed by JMW Turner, and he was once employed as a print colourer. In 1863 Thomas Creswick painted “Crossing the Stream”, so this image could have come from either of these sources. A really good copy of this popular image.
