"The Swing" (LB No 92 CL No 108), an oval by Abraham Le Blond (1819-94). This was adapted from a painting by Thomas Goodall exhibited RA 1854. One of the rarest of the ovals in the series. This copy has never been displayed, comes from an album, and is as perfect as the day it was issued. From the Wilson-Browne Collection (stamp attribution au verso).
