Tunbridgeware Sewing Clamp Pin Cushion

This sewing clamp pin cushion is made from rosewood and is in completely original condition. The screw thread works well, and the turned barrel has three sets of double decoration to it. At the end is the Tunbridgeware decoration from stickware in the design of the Barton star so favoured by many manufacturers. It is in lovely condition. The pin cushion itself is original and lends itself well to the history and use of the piece which has obviously been used and enjoyed. It would be a lovely addition to a collection or to be used as a sewing accessory. 7 cms wide and 9 cms high with the screw at half thread.
