The upright ovals of Le Blond are amongst his rarest, and the most popular of the set of 32. Here we have “The Wedding Day” LB No 102. It has excellent colouring, the mount is very clean, with embossed title, being dated 1850-1867. This exhibits the two signatures of Le Blond and LA Elliot to the centre bottom. The pair is “Sunday Morning” (LB101). Mount size 20 cms x 24 cms and image size 13.3 cms x 16.8 cms. This is a wonderful copy.
