Stevens Alpha Cards Collection (92 cards)

A significant collection of Thomas Stevens Alpha range of cards. These are well documented at Stevengraph-Silks  and this very collection has been a major contributor to the advancement of knowledge of Steven’s work. There are 92 cards in the collection and many of them when bought appeared to be quite expensive. They include in excess of 20 that had never been recorded, and the occasional one has been stamped and sent through the post. Most are unused, some with handwritten messages and probably placed in an envelope to be sent. Mostly of the floral design but also with buildings and animals. The close up details of example pictures show the range. You can see the additional title to the left referring to the Alpha Series, and the credit to the right. All have embossed surrounds. If the collector did not collect any more, this would be a great opportunity. To add to an existing collection it is a chance too good to miss. Competitively priced in the hope that the collection stays together, it is still only just over £7 each!!
