Stanhope Vegetable Ivory Thimble Case, Lynn

A vegetable ivory thimble case of simple decorative form, the punched holes in the base above an engraved frieze replicating this design. The Stanhope viewer is of Lynn. It is entitled “Souvenir of Lynn to the centre and has six views around it. Below it has CR & Co London, Made in France. The condition of the images is excellent, and the vegetable ivory is perfect. The top screws neatly to the base and again, is perfect. No thimble. 60 mms high by 27 mm at it’s widest point.
