A very pretty and delicate page turner or letter opener in Tunbridge ware. The design is a reducing geometric pattern to both sides of the handle, and the blade and underlying wood is rosewood. Nicely polished and in great condition. It is 20 cms long by 2 cms wide. Difficult to date but approximately 1860-80.
