Baxter Set of 10 Needle Boxes with Baxter Print to the outside

A set of needleboxes (10) within an outer box that has the image Cader Idris (CL No 312) dated 1850 to the outside. This is in oval form. The needleboxes are embossed with various flower designs and the colours are vibrant. The remainder of the flower pictures are made up of raised gilt pattern. Related to the needlebox prints also available on the site. Follow the Tag for these. How these have survived is always a bit of a mystery, stored as they often were within needlework boxes. The size of the outer box is 15 cms x 10 cms, and the smaller contents are 4.75 cms x 2.5 cms. A lovely addition to the sewing collection.
