A Tunbridgeware Yo Yo is a rare item. Like many of the toys produced in this medium they would have suffered through use, so survivors are very unusual. This example is of medium size range at 2 1/4″ across and 5/8″ deep. It is decorated with stars on both sides with a lovely selection of woods. The sycamore (light) piece is especially attractive, especially represented on both sides. The effect as the Yo Yo is used is remarkable. The string has a bone ring pull fitted to the end. It is in excellent condition.
